Christmas exception opening hours:

We are closed on Friday 6 December 2024, Wednesday 25 December 2024, Wednesday 1 January 2025 and Monday 6 January 2025.

 

Starting from 24.7.2023, we distribute food only to people living in these zip codes: 40340 and 40320, and require proof of residence and ID. 

 

Going forward we are not open on Saturdays. 

 

Please do not come visit if you are sick, or have any symptoms of COVID-19.

 

You need to be 18 or older if you wish to be our customer.  

 

About us

Huhtasuon Elämän leipä ry is a charity organization ran by volunteers in Jyväskylä, since 2008.

We are located at Nevakatu 1

We are distributing food donated to us by local shops three times a week, on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. Once a week per person/household.

Food assistance is meant for everyone who is low income.

We are charging 5€ to cover our costs.
